Jeffrey Kirk started his career as a computer and math nerd by working as a software engineer at GE Healthcare (formerly GE Medical Systems) from the mid 1980’s to early 1990’s.
Feeling rather entrepreneurial, he left the corporate world in 1993 and decided to learn all he could about international trade. In the process he discovered he could use the internet as a strategic advantage to source products from around the world. This introduction to the internet helped him realize the powerful benefit to businesses.
In 1995, he wanted to offer dial-up internet access along with website development and hosting to area businesses. But it was too soon. Local businesses were not ready to embrace the online world. So he opened up to residential dial‐up internet access.
Within a few years, by the late 1990′s, businesses started to catch onto the idea that they needed to have a presence online and that they must appears up at the top of the search results. In the years that followed, Jeff helped hundreds of businesses with their online presence, while slowing transforming himself from a technology person to a marketing person.
With more than 20 years of online experience behind him, Jeff wrote the book called Dominate The Top. As a follow‐up, he put together a step‐by‐step, easy‐to‐follow training and coaching system for businesses that wanted to develop their own online marketing expertise in house.
The problem with the training was that parts of it continued to become quickly obsolete. To keep the training up‐to‐date, he was continually updating the information and training videos. That meant he had to always be testing new things. In the process he discovered even more effective ways to generate leads for businesses.
Since marketing online continues to change and develop, Jeff continues learning and bringing the best methods to his clients.
