David A Senator

For Use As Directed is the story of an ordinary man who, after dedicating his life to Jesus Christ at an early age, had some far from ordinary experiences. David, a pharmacist, and his wife, Sim, migrated from England to Australia in May 1964.

This book describes what happened as he and his family followed God’s plan for their lives. It tells of the highs and lows of preparation for service and missionary work in Ethiopia and Liberia as a pharmacist, church-planter, and administrator and, of course, as a parent.

The book is designed to honour God, to give insights into pharmacy and missionary medicine in a tropical context, and to show what God is able to do with anyone who trusts Him. If only one person reading this book is inspired to follow his example it will have been worthwhile.

David is now semi-retired and continues to work as an accredited consultant pharmacist entailing medical management reviews. He is working on another book, this time, a simple explanation of Christianity.
