DL Stone

I grew up in New England amidst the rich history of the American Revolution. I raised 3 children in upstate New York and New Mexico. The southwest gave me history on the Old West and in Alabama, I enriched my life with the history of the Civial War. Now, in Memphis with my daughter, I am again in the midst of rich historical places. History has always been my passion, but fantasy was my escape. The grandeur of the Rockies and the high desert beauty of New Mexico was my inspiration for the landscape of my story. I have always loved reading so writing was just a natural progression. I made sure my kids loved reading as well and it spawned very active imaginations in us all. My daughter was a grest help in writing this trilogy. That imagination inspired this story and the characters involved. During a midlife crisis, I got a blue dragon tattoo and that became the basis for Cael. Pixies and Sprites best describe my grandchildren...I look at them and can just picture the merrymaking antics in the glen. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
