Dan Dorey grew up on military bases around the U.S. and in Italy as the son of a Command Sergeant Major and a South Dakota farm girl. Dan is a volunteer police chaplain with a doctorate in theology. He wrote and published his book, "The Olive Principle" between earning a Master's Degree and writing a project as a doctoral candidate. He is a retired police lieutenant and currently serves as the Director of Pastoral Care at Christ Church at the Crossroads in Grove, Oklahoma. Dorey lives with his wife, Shelly, and their children in the Grand Lake area of northeastern Oklahoma.
