Caroline M. Grant

Caroline M. Grant is the co-editor of two books, The Cassoulet Saved Our Marriage: True Tales of Food, Family, and How We Learn to Eat (Roost Books, 2013) and also Mama, PhD: Women Write About Motherhood and Academic Life (Rutgers University Press, 2008).

She is also co-director of the Sustainable Arts Foundation and served over five years as editor-in-chief of Literary Mama.

She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of California at Berkeley, where she taught classes on film, women's studies, American literature, and writing; she has also taught at Stanford University and the San Francisco Art Institute. Her essays have been published in The Washington Post, Salon, Ozy, and a number of other journals and anthologies.
