I've been a writer for over 30 years, contributing to Sunset Magazine, TravelAge West, Highlights for Children, Every Day Fiction, Everyday Weirdness and many other print and online publications.

It struck me last year that there is a problem with one of my favorite genres (fantasy fiction) that involves witches and/or wizards: None of the works I encountered were actually written by witches. I decided to change that.

With my first novel-length published work, The Glendale Witch, I believe I've managed to retain all the magic and mystery of fantasy while keeping the work grounded in basic Craft tenets such as respect for the earth and all the creatures who inhabit this planet with us.

I have a novella in process at this time as well as a sequel to The Glendale Witch. I hope to see both published in 2012.
