Patrick Seamus O'Hara

Patrick Seamus O'Hara is the name under which Edward. A. Hara writes. Born in 1949 in Decatur GA, he grew up with a love of the outdoors and the idylic countryside of northern Georgia. Caught up in the vices and immoralities of the 1960's "Hippy Movement," he experience a radical conversion to the Christian Faith. This conversion has reshaped his life and worldview for the last 40 years.

A winner of the 1967 Senior Writing Award at S.M.A. where he attended school, he has returned to writing with special emphasis on understanding the Catholic Faith. His 2001 conversion to the Catholic Faith was a seminal moment in his life and colors all of his life goals.

He is currently married to his second wife, Elizabeth, and lives outside of Fairfax, Va.
