Marvin Thomas

Marv Thomas's roots run deep in the strong farm family values of hard work and mutual support that were the backbone of his upbringing in the Pacific Northwest. He began his career in the early 60s as an engineer and worked in the aerospace industry as part of a team that helped send men to the moon. Eventually, Marv found his true calling and earned a degree in social work. He has been a practicing psychotherapist, group leader, educator, and personal growth trainer for over 40 years. Personal Village is his first book and based on his belief that community is at the core of what it is to be human. Marv lives in Seattle with his wife of over 50 years. He has two grown sons.
