Julie Valin

Julie Valin is a literary addict. When she isn't writing, reading two books at once, playing Word Mole on her smart phone, or reading her pre-school daughter every wonderful picture book she can get her hands on, she is a freelance editor, self-publishing specialist, and teaches poetry in the schools. She is the co-founder and co-publisher of the notorious Six Ft. Swells Press, a small press specializing in "After Hours" poetry. Her poetry has been published in Watershed, Heavy Bear, Rattlesnake Review, Primal Urge, Red Fez, Chiron Review, and others. She lives in Nevada City, CA with her husband and daughter.
