J. Bradley Burt

J. Bradley Burt, a retired principal, superintendent, and school board director of education, is a graduate of York University and the Ryerson School of Journalism.

His writing on family and human interest subjects has been published in newspapers and anthologies since 1976. Several of his poems and lyrics have been set to music and recorded by his daughters.

A debut novel, 'By Precept and Example', was published to acclaim in 2007, and a second edition has just been released.

'On Top of the Grass: Tales of a Snowbird in Florida', an evocative collection of prose and poetry, appeared in the spring of 2008.

A second novel, 'Until He Killed Her', was published in 2010.

Another collection of prose, 'It Matters to Me: Tales of a Young Father', a collection of stories recalling the joys of raising two daughters, was published in 2011.

His most recent novel, 'Lockdown' was released earlier in 2012.

The author lives with his wife in Ontario and Florida, where he is at work on a fourth novel and a third collection of tales.
