Eric Jonas Swensson

My writing comes from either my experience, or something researched exhaustively. My historical book, Kinderbeten, is based on my thesis, which was a most unusual children's prayer revival. A Year in Tyr is a memoir of a time spent in Lebanon.

In my youth I loved the short story form, and while I like all kinds of writing, now it is history, biographies and memoirs that are most interesting; real people are simply more interesting than something created out of someone's imagination.
