Nathaniel Phillips

Growing up, Nathaniel always found the idea of "pleasure reading" to be an oxymoron. It wasn't until he discovered the works of Ernest Hemingway and H.P. Lovecraft that he finally viewed reading as an enjoyable endeavor. However, he did not begin writing stories of his own until moved by the muses during his college years. After an encouraging creative writing class, Nathaniel realized his interest in fiction writing was not fleeting and embraced it as a pastime he hopes to continue.

Nathaniel's writing tends toward darker subject matter in the realms of horror and science fiction. The goal of all of his stories is not only to entertain, but also inspire readers to question truths and think critically about contemporary issues.
