Lorne Rubis

Lorne Rubis is a CPO and author dedicated to personal leadership, corporate culture and character. He currently serves as Chief People Officer at ATB Financial, a Canadian financial services company with headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta.

As a general manager, facilitator, consultant and entrepreneur, Lorne’s diverse career has focused on driving organizational change and performance improvement for public and private companies on a global level. His journey has sparked a passion for personal leadership and living life with character. He blogs frequently about getting the most out of work and life situations through a focus on Respect, Abundance and Accountability – the three tenants of The Character Triangle.

He is also honored to be on the Advisory Board of The Thrive Center at Fullerton in Pasadena www.thethrivecenter.org. The mission is to promote the concept and behavior of thriving, especially amongst youth. Dr. Justin Barrett, the Center’s Director, is a world-renowned academic and expert on the subject. Lorne and Kathleen, his wife/partner of 42 years, have three children and one grandchild. They spend their time between Edmonton, Alberta and Mercer Island, Washington.
