I love stories.
It's as simple as that.
Whether I am reading someone else's story, or being a journalist, writing someone else's story, I love stories.
I am a people watcher. As I travel along this journey called life, I am always a watcher of people. Everyone - no matter one's economic status in life - has a story to tell.
Ever since I was a child in Philadelphia, I enjoyed any opportunity to absorb or tell a story.
At home during "tv time", often I moved on from what was on the screen and grabbed a pencil and paper, eager to tell some adventure that I had conjured up!
Those early days of listening and dreaming turned into adult days of newspaper reporting and other journalism pursuits. At Harvard, I wrote for the The Crimson, the school newspaper.
Words were always a close friend of mine.
Now, as I write books and other projects, my love affair with writing is still going on.
I still love stories.
And now, I am enjoying the opportunity to tell more of them.
