Lara Hoffmans

Lara Hoffmans is an author, managing editor of MarketMinder.com and a content manager at Fisher Investments, an independent money management firm based in Woodside, CA, which manages tens of billions of dollars and serves tens of thousands of clients, including high net worth individuals, foundations, endowments, and large pension plans. She has co-authored 4 New York Times bestselling books with CEO Ken Fisher--2006's The Only Three Questions That Count, 2008's The Ten Roads to Riches, 2009's How to Smell a Rat, and 2010's Debunkery. Their fifth book together (Fisher's eighth book) is due out November 1, 2011, and is titled Markets Never Forget. Lara also led the development of the Fisher Investments On series, a collection of educational guides published by Wiley covering the primary investment sectors--from energy to consumer staples to health care--with in-depth analysis on the economic, political, and sentiment forces influencing each. She has worked as a research analyst, private banker and stock broker, and has a BA in Theatre from the University of Notre Dame. She grew up in New Jersey and currently lives in Vancouver, Washington.
