Bay Area rapper, Celly Cel, blazed on the scene in the mid-nineties with hip-hop heavyweight, E-40. His independent success was an integral part in helping E-40 & B-Legit's Sick Wid It records, ink a major deal with Jive. His albums sold over one million copies and “Killa Kali”, his biggest seller, reached #4 on Billboard Top 100 R&B charts.
His passion and flair for storytelling inspired him to take up screenwriting where he became a quarter-finalist in his first competition. That same fire and determination drove him to pen his first novel; a gritty, authentic tale of urban fiction from the mind of a man who lived it, and by the grace of God, lived to tell about it.
