Geoff Hill (1948-present)was born in Sydney Australia, moved to Queensland for his school years, left school at fourteen to work in the shearing sheds of Western Queensland. He travelled accross the Nullabor Plains in his early twenty's for the remote mining camps of Western Australia before heading off to Southern Africa to work on the Orange Fish Irrigation Tunnel. He travelled extensively through Britian and Europe before heading to Canada and New Zealand. The imminent arrival of his first born child saw Geoff head back to his homeland. Living in Queensland's South East corner Geoff and his wife raised three children before opening their hearts and home to two more children, adopted from South Africa. Geoff's first book "Jack" was self published in 2011. Geoff is happiest wandering his fence line with beer in hand dreaming more adventures for his characters. Geoff currently resides in Beachmere Queensland with his wife, their two dogs, his youngest son and 4 adult children who never seem to leave.
