Michael H. Collins did a postgraduate history degree at Merton College, Oxford, researched from original 18th-century documents in the Bodleian Library. He has taught Western Humanities to students from all over the world, most recently at Beijing International Studies University. Having taught in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, China and Japan he now works at the Dossetti Library, Bologna. He is a member of the Royal Geographical Society and has been a cruise lecturer for the Noble Caledonian tour company, Michael is interested in making a TV series about the English tradition of St George.
