Perrin Cothran Conrad

I have known since I was very young that writing was my purpose in life. Off to an idealistic start, I majored in English Literature/Creative Writing at Agnes Scott College. But along the way, real life seemed to get in the way, as it frequently is known to do. Several secretarial jobs, a travel agency, a magazine column, and a law degree later, I finally found myself in the perfect position to receive the blessings of a dream come true. A difficult economy allowed me a graceful exit from practicing law to pursue my two favorite passions: writing fiction and being a stay-at-home mother. My most life-affirming moments have occurred since I decided to give in to my calling and just write. I live in the Lowcountry of South Carolina with my husband and son.
