Alan Petersen

Alan Petersen writes fast-paced psychological thrillers and gritty crime fiction packed with dark secrets and sharp twists. Originally from Costa Rica, he later moved to Minnesota for college, where he met his wife. Today, they live in San Francisco, on one of the city’s famously steep streets, with their feisty Chihuahua. When he’s not writing, Alan is usually on a long walk through the city or watching true crime, research he insists.

He also hosts the popular Meet the Thriller Author podcast, where he chats with bestselling and up-and-coming thriller writers.
