Deborra Richardson

Deborra Richardson has a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Bachelor's degree in Music History from Howard University. Her work experience has included archival management, African American collections, and music or manuscript collections in library, archives or museum settings, including Howard University's Moorland-Spingarn Research Center. She also has worked with the Duke Ellington collections at the Smithsonian Institution, where she is currently Curator and Chief Archivist for the National Museum of American History. Richardson's first publication, "Ulysses Kay: a Bio-Bibliography" was co-authored with Constance Hobson. "Treasures at the Museum" is her first children's book.
