Maxine Holmgren

Maxine Holmgren is a Christian author, playwright and entrepreneur. She currently makes her home in Arizona, with her husband and large rescue dog, a white Labrador named Cash. Her home is in the desert on the Colorado River. She often hopes for visits from "Puff, the Cloud That Rained Tears of Joy" (her first children's book) to her dry desert setting.

Besides being an author, she is a playwright, wellness coach and tea enthusiast. Her love for writing and hosting tea parties led to the writing of seventeen mystery tea party plans for women. These were sold over the internet to an international audience, providing fun and laughter to womens groups of all sizes and causes.

She enjoys teaching wellness classes to seniors, encouraging them to stay active and keep their minds, as well as their bodies, healthy.

She recently stepped down from leading a senior exercise class that she had led for four years. "One day I realized that I was older than anyone in the class, so I decided it was time to have a younger person lead the group,"
