Cindy Koch-Krol was born in the Salvation Army Home for Unwed Mother's in Detroit Michigan, but life has gone uphill since then. She grew up in Ann Arbor and got the best education money can buy from Eastern Michigan University and life in general. She now lives in Traverse City, Michigan with her husband of 30 years, Jeff, and her personal chef, her son, Jake. By pure coincidence her house is on the same block as the Salvation Army community center, proof of her spiritual belief that, in essence, all things are connected.
Her first book: A Haunting at Mackinac. Alina is psychic and on vacation on Mackinac Island when she encounters an evil spirit bent on destruction. To exorcise this ancient evil from the Island she gets help from her dead mother, a woman who is also psychic and a Native American shaman.
Serialized Series: Northwoods. Tess and her faithful Wolf, Kicky, travel the forests and fields of Northern Michigan in search of good food and other adventurous unknowns. This is the story of the weird creatures they meet as well as the not so weird friends they make along the way.
In her spare time Cindy knits her own socks, makes art quilts, weaves baskets, and goes for ever increasingly long walks for her health.
She writes in front of her North facing window and watches the wild life that congregates around her four bird feeders.
