Jan Edwards Dormer

Jan Edwards Dormer was born in Winchester, Indiana, but grew up in Brazil as the daughter of missionaries. After returning to the US for university, Jan married a Canadian and made her home in Ontario, Canada. She completed a Doctor of Education degree at the University of Toronto. She has taught English and trained English teachers for many years in Canada, Brazil, Indonesia and Kenya, and currently resides with her husband in Western Kenya. Jan is also involved professionally in TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages)International Association.
