Daniel D. Grauer

Dan Grauer, was born in 1959 in the small town of Marysville, Kansas. Dan has 3 brothers, 2 older and one younger. Growing up in a small town, athletics is a culture all itself. Dan was not athletic and this created an ongoing competition with his 3 very athletic brothers, although they never saw it that way. Like his father, he began his career as a blue collar worker for Union Pacific Railroad and was eventually promoted into Claims Management in 1990 working in North Platte, Nebraska. Dan was later promoted to Manager of Occupational Claims based in Omaha, Nebraska in 1996. He loved the railroad but became addicted to money, power and status. His biggest failure was his ongoing desire to be as successful as his brothers. It wasn't until he went to prison that he found his own identity. He married Joyce Ida Treadway on September 23, 2006 and it was with her love, caring, compassion and support he became a very well liked and successful United Methodist pastor in 2010. While he has been a keynote speaker at colleges, high schools and civic groups regarding white collar crime, his greatest desire is to keep just one person from making the same bad decisions he did.
