Cha'Bella Don

Cha’Bella Don is a Los Angeles born author and creator shaped by the streets and stories of her city. Growing up in Los Angeles, she used books and writing as a way to escape, survive, and make sense of the world around her.

Her love for urban fiction started early and grew into writing poetry and short stories that caught the attention of teachers and mentors who pushed her to keep going. Over time, she developed a voice rooted in truth, memory, and culture.

She is the creator of Color Me Cali, a coloring book series inspired by real neighborhoods, real moments, and the everyday scenes that raised generations across Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and the Inland Empire. Her work reflects lived experience, not fantasy.

Through her books, Cha’Bella Don invites readers to color their memories and reconnect with where they come from.

Writing brings her serenity. Her pen is her energy.
