Sofia Gnoli

Fashion scholar, curator and journalist Sofia Gnoli teaches at the IULM University and contributes to La Repubblica, La Stampa, Il Venerdì and Vogue Italia. She is a consultant and author for the Giovanni Treccani Italian Encyclopaedia.

An expert in heritage, she has curated the historical archives of Luisa Spagnoli and Federico Forquet.

In 2024, she was the fashion consultant for the four-part Sky Original documentary entitled Moda: una Rivoluzione Italiana (Fashion: an Italian Revolution).

For the Colosseum Archaeological Park, she curated the series of meetings Ephimera. Dialogues on Fashion (collected in a volume published by Electa, 2020) and the exhibition Rara Avis. Fashion in Flight at the Farnese Aviary (2024, Marsilio Arte catalogue).
