Simon Smart has spent decades working in almost every aspect of software development, from accounting systems to manufacturing machinery programming. Over the course of his career he has seen the changing face of technology from the beginnings of the mainstream internet to online world of today.

Simon's books aim to pass on his practical knowledge gained from years as a programmer and hope to offer a more straightforward and easier to follow approach than many other books on the market.

Outside of programming, Simon also has an interest in botany and nature and runs Wildflowers of The Isle of Man (manxwildflowers.com) on his home island.
