Sanni has been overcoming her own difficulties around money since 1999. She says that, like many people, she spent money she didn’t have on things she didn’t need to impress people she didn’t like, and that this left her feeling chronically short of and stressed around money. Over the years, she developed a budgeting system that would put her needs first, yet allow her to reduce her debts and build up savings at the same time.
Sanni grew up in Germany and moved to the UK in 1981. There she spent many years working in fundraising for the voluntary sector before studying accounting with the Open University. Shortly after completing her studies, Sanni was asked by a young friend to help her with her money. That was the start of her money coaching business.
Sanni has become increasingly aware that that there are large numbers of people who have never been properly trained in handling their finances. Sanni’s books have been written for the kind of people who want to learn how to develop new budgeting techniques and skills so that they’ll enjoy managing their own money rather than debt.
