Jim Thomson

Jim Thomson was born in Dallas, Texas, but currently lives in the Inland Northwest of the United States. In 1971, while he was sitting on the front porch of an old hotel, his life was dramatically changed by a sovereign encounter with God. He has endeavored to follow Him ever since. With his wife, Laurie, he has taught English in China, served as a missionary in India, Israel and Papua New Guinea. He has written six books: The God We Do Not Know, Hacia Lo Profundo, The Wrong Road Taken: 7 Questions for A Wayward Church, Deeper: A Call to Discipleship, Leadership on the Brink: The Church's Encounter with God's Word, and Achilles: End of Days.
