D. W. Kreger is a clinical psychologist, an expert on the occult, and a researcher in the fields of psychology, archaeology, and spirituality. His work has been presented at major academic conferences, and appeared in both research journals and popular magazines and newspapers.
Though he is a hospital-trained neuropsychologist, Dr. Kreger’s focus has been on interdisciplinary research in the fields of archaeology, anthropology, and spirituality. He has investigated archaeological sites in 17 countries around the world. He has also investigated numerous sites in California and throughout the Southwest. His research has been frequently presented at the annual meetings of the Archaeological Institute of America. His archaeological research has been featured in Atlantis Rising, Caribbean World and other magazines, and he is the author of 5 books.
Dr. Kreger holds graduate degrees in Family Therapy and Clinical Psychology. He completed his Ph.D. at the Wright Institute, Graduate School of Psychology, at Berkeley. He interned at the King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at Laguna Honda Hospital, in San Francisco. He has worked in the field for over 30 years and is a Diplomate of the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling, and Psychotherapy. His psychological research has been published in Psychological Reports, and abstracts published in the Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology; his research has also been presented at annual meetings of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the California Psychological Association.
In addition to his research and writing, Dr. Kreger currently teaches psychology at the MacLauren Institute, and is a consulting clinical psychologist in private practice. He lives with his family on a small organic vineyard north of Los Angeles, CA.
