Kerry Luksic

Kerry Lonergan Luksic is a born and bred Jersey girl, a mother of three, and an Alzheimer's advocate. She has an undergraduate degree in marketing from Rutgers University and an MBA from Seton Hall University. After a marketing career and taking time off to raise her daughters, she began freelance writing. Some of her work has been published in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Star Ledger, The Main Line Times, Parent Guide News, Parents Express, and Examiner.com.

As a dedicated Alzheimer’s advocate, Kerry ran her first marathon as part of the Alzheimer’s Association inaugural 2009 “Run to Remember” Philadelphia Marathon fundraising team. Life Lessons from a Baker's Dozen: 1 Mother, 13 Children, and their Journey to Peace with Alzheimer's is Kerry's first published book. She will be donating ten-percent of royalties earned through the sale of each book to Alzheimer’s research and support programs. Kerry is a member of the International Women's Writing Guild and lives with her husband and children in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
