Born in Sunderland many years ago I went to college in Bradford and trained to be a teacher, a profession I followed for 34 years. Then I worked in a bank for 6 years before retiring completely. I remained in Yorkshire and that is where I write. I have always had the ambition to write and eventually began in 2009 and have completed ten novels and two collections of poetry since then and I'm working on the eleventh.

The first novel is entitled 'I Have To Get It Right'; the second is 'The 51st State'; the 3rd novel is 'The Biter Bit'; and, the fourth is 'A Changed Reality' and is now available also. 'Inceptus' is the fifth Steele novel and expands on hero Steele's early life. 'Castled' came along shortly afterwards and swiftly followed by Steele's adventures principally in the UK in 'Earth plc' which has a strong political and anti-establishment tone interwoven with the actions of our hero.

'Cessation' is NOT a Steele novel. I felt that the state of the countries power requirements and the way in which the big power companies and the government were handling the situation, was hopeless and so wrote a story, that could be classified as dystopian, which predicts one possible future for us all.
