Vicki Whiting

Vicki R. Whiting, Ph.D. brings over twenty-five years of business and managerial experience to organizations and executives throughout the western United States. Vicki has focused her teaching, research, consulting and executive coaching experience in the area of organizational management and executive development.

Currently a senior faculty member at Westminster College, Vicki has taught at the University of Utah and at the University of Southern California. Vicki received her doctoral degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. As a doctoral candidate, Vicki received the prestigious Sample Fellowship award.

Vicki has published numerous academic articles and chapters and is a noted thought leader in the field of mentorship and global leadership. She received her M.B.A. from Seattle University and her B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University. Prior to moving into the teaching, research and consulting arenas, Vicki had a twelve-year career in the technology industry, beginning in the customer service arena and culminating in an appointment as Director of Technical Services at Digital Systems International in Seattle, Washington.

Vicki’s first book, “In Pain We Trust” was recently published offering healthcare providers lessons in how to lead through listening.
