M L Roper

Marie Roper was born in Washington, DC, in 1951 and lived in the DC area all her life, until 1997, when she and her husband, Dennis, started moving around the country for his work. That's given her the opportunity to see sunrises over the Atlantic and sunsets over the Pacific, to eat lobsters in New England, beef in Kansas and real sourdough in San Francisco, and to make friends all over the country. She currently resides in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. In addition to writing children's books with Dennis under the name Grandpa Roper, Marie is a freelance writer for several online sites and is currently working on her first mystery.
