Angie M. Yingst began writing about grief, art, religion, and parenting at still life with circles after the death of her second daughter. In 2010, still life with circles was chosen as one of the top 50 Must-Read Mom Blogs by Parenting Magazine and Blogher. Angie is also the founder and editor of the on-line literary and arts project still life 365, which provides a safe creative space for grieving parents and family members to explore the different aspects of life after loss through art. Angie was also the editor and a regular contributor to the website Glow In The Woods. Her poetry and writing have been published in several online and print magazines including Mothering Magazine, Literary Mama, Exhale and the now defunct In The Rearview.
Angie is a certified crystal healer, Reiki Master, tarot reader, and earth medicine/shamanic practitioner. She practices out of Alta View Wellness Center in Harrisburg, PA. She teaches psychic development, tarot, crystals, spiritually-focused art, and meditation both in person and online. Angie also serves as Curriculum Specialist and Crystal Coach for Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy. Angie holds a B.A. in Religion from Temple University. Angie currently resides on a farm in Central Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, with her husband, children Beatrice, Thomas Harry, and Zachary, dog, kitties, and chickens.
