Thomas Schneider

Dr. Thomas Schneider started his career at SAP in 1996. In the early years, he headed the Center of Excellence for Performance. In 2004, he moved to the development department of SAP SE as the architect responsible for IT Service & Application Management. From 2015 to 2024, he was Chief Development Architect in the ABAP platform of SAP SE. Here he worked in particular on projects for SAP S/4HANA. He has been working as a freelancer since 2025.

In addition to the performance of SAP systems, his expertise includes the total cost of ownership (TCO) of SAP systems as well as development and expansion processes for SAP customers and partners.
