Arnold Haber

Arnold Haber, Arne to his friends, is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the borough of Brooklyn and currently living in the Oakland Gardens section of Queens. A retired pharmacist and community health planner, Arne spends his time either in conversation with enthusiasts of animals, pets, and most all living things through facebook and writing greyhouind fiction based on his shared adventures with Sweets, a 14 year old retired racing Greyhound.

Although Sweets went to the rainbow bridge in November of 2010, they had been together for more than eleven years. As a result Arne put together several pieces of fiction in the form of short stories and two novels with his muse, Sweets, as a central character. They spent their days either strolling through the neighborhood or doing their thing at home.

While Sweets dug pasta, pizza and liberal licks of peanut butter, Arne would kick back by listening to his collection of jazz cd's and writing about his buddy.
