Francesca Mazzucato

Francesca Mazzucato is an Italian writer, independent researcher, publisher, and language educator whose work moves across literature, visual art, architecture, music, and cultural memory.

She has published fiction, essays, and literary works in Italy and abroad, with translations into several languages. Her recent research and writing explore overlooked figures of the historical avant-gardes, with particular attention to women artists and the ways in which memory, place, and personal experience shape our understanding of cultural history.

She is the author of *Fragments for Suzanne*, published in English, French, and Italian, and of an extended study of the architecture of Santiago Calatrava, approached through travel, observation, memory, and the experience of the body in space.

She is also the founder and publisher of Frances Lou Editions, an independent publishing project devoted to literary, cultural, and interdisciplinary works. Alongside her books, she creates and hosts the podcasts *Le Dimenticate delle Avanguardie* and *Opera & Spritz*, exploring forgotten women of the avant-garde and the world of opera from unexpected perspectives.

Born in Italy and deeply connected to a multilingual and European cultural landscape, she writes at the intersection of places, languages, art, and stories.
