I was born in the 1960s to Canadian parents who were then living in the USA. I am the sixth child of ten.

I endured a strict religious upbringing, and continually struggled with the lies and hypocisy I encountered in that and other life-destroying belief systems. Much of my life has been a process of sifting through these difficult experiences, often while going through them, to find the gems hidden within.

These days I write about this growth process and what I continue to discover regarding truth, reality, illusion, paradox, logic, psychology, philosophy, spirituality, meaning, family, relationships, love, and life.

And I very much enjoy helping others find their way through their own difficult circumstances through my writing!
