Mike McNichols

Mike McNichols is a native Californian, born when Harry Truman was still President of the US. He writes about theology and faith, but also creates supernatural thrillers that have an underlying theological question or two. His first novel, The Bartender: A Fable about a Journey, was a doctoral project and received a dissertation award in its category. The second book in his Vampire Trilogy that started with This Side of Death, was released in December 2012 with the title A Body Given. The third installment to the series, On Turpin's Head, was released in early 2014. A collection of short stories, Dark Ocean, was released as a Kindle book in March 2012. His recent e-book, The Haunts of Violence, was released in April 2015.

The novel Time Whispers was released just before the COVID-19 pandemic. During 2020 (the year that must not be spoken aloud), Mike wrote Ill Repute and gave it free to his high school graduating class as a minor consolation following the postponement of their 50th reuinion. An Exile in Time, the sequel to Time Whispers, was released in February 2023.

Out of the Circle of Being, an out-of-world novella, percolated for quite some time before being published in 2021.
