Carol Green is a Board-certified master mental health coach (BCMMHC) with emphasis in Marriage and Family; certified master CARE-Readiness coach and trainer (CMLC), biblical lay-Counselor, ordained minister, marriage, family and ministry coach and mentor, holistic wellness promoter, and human value advocate.

She carries decades of personal and professional experience and for her many accomplishments, she has received numerous awards and acknowledgements, highlighted by being conferred a life-evidence, life-achievement, competency-based ministry doctorate (DSe), and two honorary doctorates (Hon.Causa).

This former bi-vocational pastor has been an advisor to international leaders; and he has been a consultant/ professor/ and a humanitarian statesman; as well as a songwriter, poet, author, contributing author (in an international best-seller), and served as an ordained, licensed and commissioned minister for more than 30 years. She sees herself simply as a community servant.

Having been through times of income loss and homelessness; been targets of theft, fraud, betrayal, character smearing and swindle; been denied, detoured, delayed, disappointed, disillusioned, discouraged, and battled through burn out/ compassion fatigue, as well as the mental and emotional wear and tear that comes with life's setbacks; she and her husband (Chris) know what it means to live in bitter seasons, and to have to pray, plan, wait, work and rise again; again and again.

Their Story: After decades of pastoral ministry, the Greens stepped outside of traditional religious settings and facilities to directly connect with and serve their community. Their community-supporting initiatives have included volunteering and hosting monthly workshops in an unemployment center, on-call life coaching support and monthly training for the staff of a women's emergency shelter, consultation and training for local human service organizations, and collaborating with various community outreach efforts.

From that priceless wealth of experience, wisdom and insight, they created a fresh approach to mentoring, coaching and consulting that flows from a foundation of CARE (Compassion, Authenticity, Respect and Empathy). Now they encourage, empower and educate other servant leaders in business, community outreach, government, education, human services, households, neighborhoods, churches and ministries on building capacity for CARE within themselves and their teams, engaging in mental health awareness and advocacy, and embracing spiritual care and wellness as a core value for overall success.

Their collaboration with local and international partners has been essential to their work with the professionals and volunteers who labor in diverse and under-served communities, and all who are seeking to inspire or experience a higher quality of life and greater purpose for living. They do this primarily through their Community CARE-Readiness Initiatives, Soul Care and Spiritual Wellness Support Groups, and Biblical counsel and coaching.

The Greens have been faithfully married over 40 years and they have three adult sons, two daughters-in-love, two grandchildren, and a host of people throughout the world who call them 'mom and dad'.

They are a husband-wife team with one business, one school and one mission: Renovations in Hearts and Homes. Therefore, they are not aligned with any political party, religious dogma, or 'bandwagon' social movements. They have been front-line participants in an under-the-radar, international phenomenon in which people of faith have been moving, by the thousands, outside of their traditions and buildings to carry God's healing and hope into their personal and professional communities.
