Roger Colby

I have been writing various forms of text for most of my life. I started writing horror short stories in high school, contributing a serial column to my high school newspaper which led me to write my first novel at age 16. I entered it in the Avon Flare Novel Competition of which he was one of the final 20 singled out for the winner. Even though I didn't win, I decided that if I had only proofed and revised my novel I might have had a better chance. From then on, I decided that I would pursue writing.

I entered college where I pursued an English degree with a creative writing focus, kept writing short stories which I peddled to magazines, and eventually ended up embarking on a 23-year high school English teaching career. In 2009, I published my first novel "The Transgression Box", and since then I have published 5 more books. Currently, I am a technical writer working for the FAA, but in my spare time, he is working on a screenplay and hope to get it optioned.

I write science-fiction for the bored science-fiction reader and hope you will read and enjoy my stories.
