Brian M. Talgo, has been interested in books and writing since an early age. His first book, The Beauregarde Affair, a semi-autobiographical novel about the 70s counterculture, was published by PfoxChase in 2011.
Inspired by his Norwegian roots, Brian’s early fascination for Vikings and all things Norse eventually led him to the classic medieval Icelandic Norse Sagas. He has drawn upon these and other historical texts to help in recreating an authentic atmosphere from 15th century Greenland and North America in his current project. Collaborating with co-writer Brynjulf Haugan, The Salt of Ancient Tears, volume one of The Lost Viking Saga trilogy, was published in 2024, with volume two, The Way of The Raven, following in November, 2025. Brian and Brynjulf are currently working on the third and final volume, The Wind in the Blood, planned for a 2027 publication. Otherwise, Brian’s short stories have appeared in various anthologies published in Norway and abroad.
Additionally, Brian was a founding member and lyricist for the now-defunct Norwegian prog-rock collective Gentle Knife. He has since continued to work in a solo capacity.
