Hello! I didn’t grow up a sports fan, but as part of a Padres TV channel, I fell in love with baseball and into a world of Hall of Famers, fan favorites and rising stars.

Wherever they are now, the core of their story is timeless – so much to learn from many including Tony Gwynn, Trevor Hoffman, Junior Seau, Ted Williams, Drew Brees and LaDainian Tomlinson.

I’m from a Navy family and my shutter-bug dad often said, “let’s document the moment!” My teacher mom long encouraged me to write. That plus my curiosity, and heart & soul interviewing style are part of my passion & profession. I also help people tell their life stories for their families.

While grateful for Emmys and other awards, my best prize is my daughter Lily. I’m a single mom by choice and had her at 50. (Perhaps another book?)
