I'm passionate about writing the kind of stories I'd want to read myself. My seventh novel, Missing, was released December 2, 2019. Missing is the story of a female private detective who is asked by distraut parents to help them find their missing female college student. It seems at first like an easy assignment for Melanie Randolph, an x-FBI agent who started her own agency to help people the system doesn't have time for, but nothing goes as it should and soon she wonders what's really behind the girl's disappearance.

What did I do before I "retired"? I was a journalist, educator and entrepreneur plus civil rights activist, athelete and dad. All those things plus reading, reading & more reading gave me the courage to do what I'd wanted to do since I was a teenager.
