Cosimo Marcello Corciulo, born in Salice Salentino (Le) on April 26 1958, resides in Manfredonia(Fg) where he is a teacher of Biology, Geography and Chemistry at secondary schools and a chemical consultant registered with the Order of Chemist of Foggia in Puglia-Italy-..

On 11 November 2008 with the fantasy novel "The Secret of the Sun" he won the "Gronchi" International Prize for Literature in Pontedera (Pisa). The novel, published in 2008 by the publishing house Autore Libri Firenze, due to the expiry of the contract, is now the exclusive property of the author Corciulo Cosimo Marcello.

On 24 July 2010 he won the best script for short film 2010 "Vincenzo Di Lascia", as part of the 3rd short and culture competition of the city of Manfredonia (Fg), with the screenplay taken from his second novel "The Bet of the Mystery".

This novel was published on March 15, 2013 by the GDS publishing house in Vaprio d’Adda (Mi).

On 28 September 2014 he received an honorable mention for his unpublished novel

“Lamp: Mud, Fire and Faith” as part of the Montefiore International Award in

Cattolica (Rimini). This novel was published on 15 April 2016 by the Agemina

publishing house in Florence.
