George Hoepfner

George Hoepfner has enjoyed writing for all of his adult life and has authored more than two dozen books, including a plethora of adult fiction books, six children's chapter books, a book of short stories, several books of poetry, and two books about his experiences on Colorado's highest mountains.

George writes just for love of the written word, although he enjoys sharing his works with the public through self-publishing, slowly adding his novels to his publishing portfolio. He was a classroom teacher until 2020, primarily for gifted children, and is now semi-retired and working part-time in Colorado Springs. In his free time, he writes, hikes many mountains, plays disc golf and putters around the yard.
