Rick Loomis

Born in Oregon, I have lived all my life (since age 4) in Scottsdale Arizona (except for a 3 year stint in Hawaii courtesy of Uncle Sam and the US Army). I have been inventing games since I was in grade school, and started my own game company (Flying Buffalo Inc) in 1970. I believe I am the first person in the world to buy a computer (in 1972) JUST to play games on it. It was a Raytheon 704 minicomputer with 4K of memory! I am also the first person to write (and publish) a solitaire adventure (Buffalo Castle) for a role playing game (Tunnels & Trolls).
