Michael R. Gorman is a poet, national Lambda Literary Award winning author, artist, Celtic scholar, former high school and college instructor, lecturer, public speaker, dramatist, civil rights activist and Druid (practitioner of the ancient nature-based Celtic philosophy and spirituality). He was born to a military family in 1955, the same year Disneyland opened and Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus. He lives in an attic loft of a Victorian house in Sacramento, California, the City of Trees.
